Widget problem with Matala Theme

  I’ve created a web site with the Matala theme and it’s putting two widgets on the pages: the archive and meta widgets. When I go to the widget panel, though, to delete them, they aren’t showing up. Can you please tell me how to delete them?

  Put a widget in the sidebar, any widget. Then take it out again. That wipes out the default widget set entirely.
