Hello, I would like to place a widget from bookbuzzr onto the sidebar of my blog and I have been unable to figure out how to do it. Can you give me step by step instructions. Thank you Shirley McLain

The issue is actually you cannot add a third-party widget into WordPress.com sites. For our user’s security, we cannot allow outside code on our servers. However, there is a workaround, if you’d like to try it. You might find it handy to create your own widget that links to bookbuzzr:
en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/create-your-own-widget/If it’s vitally important for you to use this plugin/widget code, you might want to consider self-hosting your own site. It does take some more elbow grease, but self-hosting a site that isn’t housed at WordPress.com will give you the flexibility to try out that plugin. Here are the differences between hosting at WordPress.com and self-hosting via WordPress.org:
