"Widget Restore"
-
While using an Ipad, I fell asleep while looking at themes. Oops, I now have a new theme! I had taken great pains to have my widgets just so. Is there a way to go back to exactly how they were or must you place each and every widget individually? For example I restored the CSS, by just clicking on the last version. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

CSS is theme specific. If you have custom CSS and later change themes, you need to delete whatever CSS you have in the Editor, otherwise, you’ll get undesired results.
To ‘reset’ a theme, you need to delete the CSS in the Editor, make sure the “add to existing CSS” radio button is checked, then save. Things should go back to normal.
NOTE: When you alter a theme’s stylesheet, you only need to put in the Editor the modification/additions to the CSS, not the entire thing.
If you want to change themes on a free hosted WordPress.com blog you must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the blog and who is the Admin of the blog. Note that no content is ever lost when changing themes.
Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes
browse themes until you find one you like and click “activate”
or type in the name of the theme you want to use and
click the “activate” link when it appearsAfter you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

Reinstalling the widgets was like putting a jigsaw puzzle together after dropping it on the floor. I wish that there was a “restore” to previous button for the widgets. The CSS was pretty simple. The widgets took awhile. Thanks.
