Widget section background colour on Intergalactic 2

    Hey,

I’ve just changed theme to Intergalactic 2, my blog is changingthesails.wordpress.com

I want to change the background colour of the bottom section under my recent posts where my widgets are? I want it to be white/light grey instead of black but can’t find the option to do so. I also want to make my logo bigger if that’s also possible…

    Can anyone help?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

To change the background color of the footer on your website, you will need to make use of Custom CSS.

Custom CSS is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans.
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/

I also want to make my logo bigger if that’s also possible…

    As per the theme documentation-
Intergalactic 2 includes support for a Site Logo, which appears in the header above the site title at a maximum of 600 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall on the blog and archives, and a maximum of 250 pixels wide by 50 pixels tall on single posts and pages.

If the logo image is wider than it is taller, then it will appear bigger on your website. Currently, your logo is almost as wide as it is tall.

So when you skip cropping when adding the logo through Site Identity>, the whole image scales down to preserve aspect ratio and so it is small.
