Widget Section CSS Customization
-
Hello… I am currently using the forever theme and I would like to know if there’s a snippet to make the Poll on the widget section be smaller as it is right now. As you can see the left side of the poll has the round corners from the original size but the right side doesn’t since most likely the width of the poll is bigger for that widget section so it cuts the width. Is there a snippet to make it smaller so I can be able to see the round corners from both sides as it is on the original poll? Thanks

Before trying to modify the poll with CSS, I would recommend checking the settings for the poll itself.
In poll settings, there is an option to make the poll wide, medium, or narrow. Can you check the settings for your poll and make sure it is set to narrow and then check to see if that solves the problem?

This section from the help page about Polls is relevant:
Important: When adding a poll to your sidebar, you may need to update its design to use the Narrow style to ensure that it properly fits. You can do this by editing a poll.
You can find it here:

There’s indeed a narrow option which is wight 150 px
I updated the poll so it can be narrow but as you can see the poll looks small. I would like for it to be bigger as the size of the widget pics that are on top of the poll.

I know you have asked many questions in the CSS forums, and we are here to help you get started learning CSS so you can apply changes on your own using our CSS tools.
I’ve made a screencast for you showing how to find the right selector to use if you want to change the width of the poll in your sidebar. Can you try it out?
