Widget side bar not showing

  Hello,

  -My Twitter widget in my sidebar is NOT showing
  Also…

  – My FOLLOW button in my sidebar is NOT showing

  When I looked at my widget page…under the tool settings…it is there, but it is NOT showing on my site

  I have NOT made any changes to my site.
  I haven’t been logged in for a few mos so I don’t know if you all ….meaning
  (WordPress in general) made any changes that effects it showing or not

  I would also like to know if the “snow” feature is still available for the free wordpress sites….I used it last year, but I didn’t see it this year.

  – Is this feature still available?

  – How can I activate it?

  I can see the Twitter widget without problems.

  – My FOLLOW button in my sidebar is NOT showing

  I can see that as well, right above your Twitter widget, though I want to note you don’t actually need that – your site automatically shows a follow button to anyone who visits it in the bottom-right corner of the site.

  If those two widgets are not visible to you, it’s likely something in your browser is blocking them from loading. If you’re using any ad-blockers or anti-tracking add-ons, see if disabling those help. Some antivirus browser add-ons can also cause this – a few years ago I had the same problem with the Twitter and Facebook widgets on my site, and it turned out the Avast Antivirus add-on was blocking those from loading.

  I would also like to know if the “snow” feature is still available for the free wordpress sites….I used it last year, but I didn’t see it this year.

  You couldn’t have used it last year, because that feature was removed from WordPress.com around the middle of 2018. That feature no longer exists, so it’s not possible to activate it. There is a CSS workaround to add it, or else you can do it using a plugin, but those require our Premium or Business Plan, respectively.

  Ok, I did notice after disabling my ad-blocker that I can now see the “LINK” that says “MY TWEETS”…..but I still cannot see the ACTUAL tweet in my sidebar like I used to….

  Is it supposed to just display the Link Wording for twitter now …or is there still an issue here?

  I see text and the tweets both displaying as expected. Could you send a screen shot of what you are seeing? Add it to the site media library and then we can take a look from there.

  Hello,

  I can see it now….I had an additional ad blocker I wasn’t aware of….so I disabled the 2nd one, so now I can see it.
