Widget sidebar is a footer

  I’ve got 3 widgets set in sidebar. They were fine until a day ago and now they’re only showing at the bottom, even though I’ve not changed any settings and there’s still space on the side. It seems more like a wordpress fault than a setting. I also previewed some other themes and the same thing happened. Up until half an hour ago I had separate pages where the widgets worked fine, there’s just something wrong with the homepage.

  Any ideas would be much appreciated.
