widget size

    im trying to add this widget i got from a site but it asks for what size you need the widget to be. What size (in pixles) is it suposed to be to fit? i have the blix theme

    Most “widgets” stuff you find on the web cannot be used here because they typically contain javascript or shockwave flash, which is not allowed due to security concerns. I don’t think there has ever been anything published on the width of the sidebar areas, and it varies from theme to theme, sometimes considerably.

    Javascript – can I use that on my blog?

    If you could paste the code here between backticks (to the left of the #1 key on north american keyboards on the same key as ~) we could look at it.

    There must be more to it than that. Inserting that into a text widget will only produce all that as text.

    But to answer your other question, on most themes a widget of 150px wide or less should fit, although I haven’t checked Blix.
