Widget size

    Hi guys,
Very new to WordPress been shuffling around finding things and working it out slowly.
My problem is that my Gallery widget is so tiny in fact ridiculously tiny to run a slide show or to even call a gallery.
What I want to know is where or how do I resize the actual widget or widget space so it is a reasonable and suitable size for a Slide Show/Gallery.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t really change the size of your theme’s sidebar unless you have the Custom Design upgrade and having a working knowledge of CSS also helps.

The Gallery widget will show small images especially if you load up quite a number of photos there. I don’t see the widget currently active in your above site’s sidebar, but regardless, I’d limit the number of images to 6 at most and if they are tiny, use the slideshow option in the widget.

If you need more hep with this, please post back here.

Well I have upgraded to Make it mine ie my domain .com does that allow editing the source ? I have no experience with CSS but HTML Java Scripting I have some. I have looked at the source code and see the widget size and could easily edit that if I had access ?

    No.

No upgrade on WordPress.com will give you access to the underlying PHP or HTML. The best you can do is modify your theme’s CSS and for that you either need the Custom Design upgrade (as I mentioned above) or the Premium upgrade which includes the Custom Design upgrade.

OK I don’t know if I’m ready yet to buy into it that much I’ve only just started blogging and not sure yet how serious it’s going to get.
Thanks for your help I’ll look into that anyway.

I suggest not buying any upgrades until you know how the software works, know the limitations, and are more than ready to spend the money. The Custom Domain is always a good decision, though. I would wait a month at least before buying anything else.
