Widget Size Is Too Long

The Catagories Widget is too long. The tail end of it gets hidden. Any solution, or is this a probelm stemming from the Theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The width of the categories widget pulldown is determined by the longest category name. The only way to fix it is to shorten the longest category name (or more than one) till it fits in the sidebar.

Why not shorten that category name to “inspirational authors” or “authors who inspired me.”

The Category Widget is designed to be wide enough to accommodate your longest title, so it could be too wide for your theme’s side bar(s). I believe it works that way by design: at least it does in all the many various themes I’ve used / seen in my test blog.
