widget: text, whats happening?

  hi, when i was logged in, i went to the Design page, and then Widgets, in there, i hade the widget Text in the sidebar, and theres a link: (what you want to call the link here)

  and then, if i took forexample A Friend in the Link-Name, thats should show up in the sidebar on the page, and then i could just click it to come to another page. i had a text widget full of theses. and then i cut a little away, (not on purpose) and i took it back again, and now it wont work! I’ve checked and tryed a 10000 times, but doesn’t work. Someone that could help me? Sorry if i’m bad at telling my problem, i’m from another country and then its a little hard writing on english

  what is the code you are placing in the widget? place the code in backticks so the code will show up. backticks are (usually) on the top of the keyboard to the left of the number one.
