Widget to show post titles and number of comments in brackets?

  Hi, I’m pretty new tp WP.com, my blog’s on owim1.wordpress.com.

  I’d like to add a widget to my sidebar that would show five MOST POPULAR POSTS:

  Format: post title (number of comments), sorted by number of comments, like this:

  – Purpose of live (313)
  – Hey there article (23)
  – Hello World story (6)

  Please note I used widget Top Posts & Pages, which shows ranks of pages based on clicks. Thanks! :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You mean to do that and have it update in realtime automatically? I don’t believe that is doable at WordPress.com, but you can ask staff. Otherwise, you could use a text widget and just manually update it from time to time.

  Yup, automatically, or from time to time, like with widget Top Posts & Pages.

  I don’t want to do it manually. Really need to count the comments for each post, making the list of most popular.

  Well, WordPress is open source, so maybe some developer will read your wish and design it.
