Widget to show scrollable list of posts from one category only

  I would like to add a widget which displays a drop down menu of posts from one category only.

  For example on my new page

  poetry 101 rehab

  I would like to include a widget so that readers can see a drop down scrollable of lists from posts which have been given the category Poetry 101 Rehab.

  Does anyone know how to do this?

  There is no widget that displays posts from only category in a dropdown menu.

  Your best bet is to either create a custom menu widget with just the required category added to it

  OR

  add a text widget with display posts shortcode that displays only posts from the required category in a list.

  Clicking on Jams will take you to a different page that lists all the posts in the Jams category like this: https://chaittestpress.wordpress.com/category/jams/
