Widget Trouble

  When I activate a widget all of my category, pages, ect. disappear. How do I change this?

  Please link your user name to your blog as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forum.

  Also – if you search on widget, you will discover that the sample set of widgets disappears once you start adding your own. Just add the ones back in that you want.

  Most themes come with a small preset of suggested (artificial) sidebar items. Once you add a widget yourself, you take over: the preset is cancelled, and you can add whatever widgets you want.
