Widget visibility trouble
-
I’m using the theme Ideation and Intent for my site and I’m having trouble getting my widgets to show up on anything besides the home page. It seems like I’ve tried every visibility option to make them show up on all pages and it’s still not working. The widgets I’m using are arbitrary text, facebook, twitter, links, archive and search.
Anyone able to tell me what I’m doing wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like this particular theme does not display the sidebar on static pages. Therefore widgets will only show on the home page while this theme is activated.

More precisely, the theme displays the widget sidebar on dynamic pages only, so this sidebar will show when you view the main posts page as well as any archive page (category, tag, monthly etc), but not when you view a static page or a single post.

That’s what I was afraid of.
Think this can be changed with customizing the CSS? Or is this something I’ll need a new theme for?
Thanks, everyone! -
You’ll have to pick a theme that displays widgets on static pages. There’s no way to put them there with CSS or the like.
