  Because there are code restrictions here to maintain security and stability. This is a multiuser blogging platform and we cannot use any JavaScript widgets. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  You can insert those Widgetbox widgets that provide a flash embed code, by converting the code into a WP-specific shortcode. Sample collections here:
