Widgets

    (1) I blog at http://www.seekingquerencia.me with the My Life theme. I keep trying to add widgets to the sidebars and they replace other widgets that I already have and delete them. Is there a max number of widgets that I can use in my sidebar?

    (2) Also, when I try to edit the Blogs I Follow widget and delete blogs, they reappear.

    I’d really appreciate any help that you can give me. Also, I’d better say up front that I have zero tech ability. :) Thanks, Lydia

    Hi Lydia – Hmm, no there’s no limit. I tried adding a widget to your sidebar and all the other widgets stayed as expected.

    Next time this happens, can you please try clearing your cache and reloading the page, to make sure that it’s not just a cacheing issue that makes them disappear?

    Do they also disappear from the widget areas in Appearance->Widgets, or only on the front end of your site?

    I will try your suggestions. They disappear on the front page but remain on the widget page. In some cases, widgets that I add to the side bar move to the footer. Why might that be happening. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but again, I will try your suggestions. I really appreciate your help.
