Sorry to trouble you good folk, as I know that you must be very busy, But I’m trying to get rid of the “blog role” ‘Disuss’ ‘get inspired’ ‘polling’ etc. plus the ‘Meta’ widget ‘regester’ ‘log in’ widget in the right of my blog but can’t seem to pull it off just yet. I’ve gone to the ‘widgets’ section of ‘Appearance’ and have tried to remove but to no avail. I press the ‘Delete’ per the instructions but it’s still there!Please advise. Thank you!

Hi there!
Your theme has a set of widgets that it will display if you don’t customize them. You can remove the default widgets in the Right Sidebar by putting a widget in the Right Sidebar widget section at Appearance > Widgets.
If you’d like no widgets to display, you can put a Text widget there, and just leave the content boxes empty.

I have read the tutorial on placing a “tweet this” widget for my twitter acct., and accordingly I drag and drop the “tweet this’ widget from “available services” over to “enabled services” unfourtunately there seems to be no change! I also did this seperately once after creatin a twitter timeline widget and still no change…. what am I doing wrong?

Are you trying to add your Twitter timeline to a widget on your site?

I thought that I could place the different widgets where ever I wanted them, such as the right hand column!
