widgets..?

  hello, i started this blog a little while ago and i´m a bit ….lost. I do not like the appearance of the side bar;
  Archives, Categories, Pages, Blogroll and Meta.

  Any idea how to get them away from the main page? i have tried to delete widgets but it does not work…

  All answers appreciated.

  For some strange reason, you need to ADD a widget to your sidebar and then the widget set that you start with will disappear. You can then remove the one you added. Remember to update to save the changes.

  Those widgets, however, do serve a purpose; they help readers navigate around your blog. If you take them away, they will read fewer posts of yours.
