  Hi,

  I am having difficulty adding widgets to the sidebar on my website. I know that the theme supports widgets as the sub-category is available, but whenever I try to add widgets over to the only category I have available: ‘Sidebar1’ and save, nothing appears on my page.

  Please can anyone give any advice?

  Unfortunately, this isn’t the right WordPress forum to help with that problem. You appear to have a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software, but this forum is for blogs hosted here on WordPress.com. The two versions are different and have separate forums. Please post your question at the WordPress.org forum: https://wordpress.org/support/
