Widgets

Hi. I would like to make my widgets, like twitter and instagram, show on the side rather than all the way at the bottom. Is that possible? Thank you.

The theme you’re using on https://thestickythoughts.wordpress.com/ is Libre theme which place 3 widgets on the footer. Unfortunately you can’t add or change widget placement.
If you wish to place the widget on the sidebar, there are plenty of theme that support sidebar widget here

The theme you are using on thestickythoughts.wordpress.com is Libre and doesn’t display a sidebar until you are in single post view. So rather than displaying those widgets in your site’s footer, you can add them to the sidebar. Here’s more about working with Libre: https://wordpress.com/themes/libre/
Another option to make those footer widgets more “visible” on the homepage is to display fewer posts on your homepage. You can change that in Reading Settings in your WP Admin dashboard. For your above site that would be https://thestickythoughts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php Change the “Blog pages show at most” to a smallish number (My site using Libre is set at 3 posts).
Be aware that changing that setting also affects other dynamically generated pages on your site, like category, author, archive, etc. pages.
Let us know if you have more questions about that.
