  Hi. I am new to WordPress. I played around with creating widgets on the footer areas, using the oxygen theme. But now I can’t delete some of them. I wonder why. I now have 3 ‘follow’ widgets in 3 different areas. I appreciate your advice. Thanks.

  Hello,

  In order to deactivate and delete widgets, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and drag them back.
