The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
This is the support document for text widgets.

WP Admin dashboard:

Scroll to appearance, then widgets. You should see your widget areas there. Footer, Sidebar, etc. Locate the widget you wish to remove, then hit remove.Let me know how that goes.

I’m not removing a widget I created. There are none listed under the widgets menu to remove. It is the default verbiage about here is where a widget goes on my about and contact page. It’s a box that’s built in as a default to show you where a widget would go if you add one. They do not show up on the widget menu when you look there. i can’t get rid of them. Is there a way to get to the html code to remove it?

Did you get it straightened out? I went back to visit your page and am not seeing widgets any longer.

I did. I opened the customize feature from the actual page. It’s on a menu for sidebars. Thanks.
