I am trying to authorize Instagram on my website, but when I click the ‘Authorize’ button my page goes blank and doesn’t load. I have my account up in another tab and logged in as well.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

First, add the Instagram Widget to your site without authorizing it. You can do so by navigating to your Customizer, and selecting the Widgets option. Click Add a Widget, and select the Instagram Widget from the list.
At this point, click Save & Publish at the top of your Customizer.
Next, you can grant WordPress.com access to the Instagram account that you wish to display images from. You can only display images from an Instagram account that you own or otherwise have access to.
For more information, have a look at Instagram Widget Support Document.

Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the widget set up.
The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
Navigate to > Dashboard > Appreance > Widgets
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.
The Instagram widget allows you to display your latest Instagram photos in your site’s sidebar and the guide for setting up the only one that will work on a wordpress.COM hosted blog is here https://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-widget/
Also, note this support doc
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibilityIs your Instagram account public? Or is is private, and therefore, blocked when it comes to display of images in the widget on your blog? And, are you logged in when authorizing it?
This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck.
