How do I add a custom widget. I want to add Daily Mile to my sidebar but can’t figure it out

We don’t allow plugins and custom widgets on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.
