Widgets and ads aren't showing

    Hi,

    I’ve added two widgets to my blog: the Follow Button and the Follow Blog widgets. I added them a week ago and have since logged out and into my blog. The widgets are still not working and not coming up on my blog.

    I’ve also added WordPress.com Ads to my blog. This is also not showing.

    I’ve tried viewing the blog by using an Incognito Window. The widgets and the ads are still not showing.

    Please, help.

    Hi Asa, you’ve got some widget visibility options enabled that are hiding the widget except in very specific circumstances. Would you mind removing those to see if that helps?

    Thank you for your reply! I’m sorry for being technically challenged! I’m unable to locate where the widget visibility options are and what in them I’m supposed to change. What are the specific locations called?

    Hi Asa,

    Yo change your widgets visibility you need to go to My Site > Design > Customize > Widgets > Footer, then expand the widget you want to edit and click on the Visibility button.

    Thank you so much! Have located the widget visibility options, followed the instructions, done what needs to be done according to the instructions and saved the updates. However, I still can’t see any Follow Me widgets. What is happening?

    Hi there,

    I still see conditions on the visibility settings for both widgets. Are you wanting any conditions added? If not, I would click the red x next to each widget and remove them, so that the widgets will show on each page.

    Once you remove those visibility options, let us know if you are still having issues seeing the widgets, particularly on your post page.

    Thank you for your help! I have now removed the conditions to each widget (pressing the red x) and the Follow Me widgets are still not showing on my blog. What is wrong?

    I see a Follow and Follow Blog widget both set up and displaying on the home page. Is there a different widget that is missing? These are the only 2 that are currently added.

    The Follow by email and Follow widget isn’t working on my site either. Any solution to this on the way?
