Widgets are missing from my settings

  The Widgets option is missing from my settings. Within Appearance, I have Themes, Customize, Menus, Header… completely missing Widgets which cannot be found anywhere. Changing the theme doesn’t help either. Please help!

  Apparently I just kept choosing themes that disabled widgets. I didn’t know that was possible to completely hide the “Widgets” menu under Settings. Finally though I found a theme with widgets enabled, so now the option does appear under Settings. Thanks for the response.
