widgets aren't showing up in the main sidebar

  widgets don’t show up in the main sidebar. I’ve added the follow blog widget and the Archives widget but neither is showing up.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Have you consulted your detailed theme description page to determine how and where widgets are displayed on that theme? http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/hum/

  Widget Areas
  Hum supports one Main Sidebar just after the content, three widget areas in the site footer, and an additional widget area (Showcase Sidebar) on the Showcase page template. You can configure these areas by going to Appearance -> Widgets.

  Widgets also have visibility settings that determine which pages they display on. Maybe that’s a factor in your case or maybe not. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility

  Oddly, widgets only show up on pages, not posts. And I don’t want the widgets at the bottom of the page, I’d prefer them under the left menu. But it’s not that huge an issue.
