Widgets disappeared
-
Hi all,
I saw someone else complained about this, but he was directed to wordpress.org. I am definitely a wordpress.com user.
All of my widgets disappeared! I had a really nice set up going on. I got it back together again, but why did this happen? And will this happen often?
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.
Widgets have visibility settings that determine which pages they display on https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility
Also note that all themes are individually designed. In some there are hidden ie. slideout panels. To know how widgets are designed to appear and where they are designed to appear on your theme you need to consult the relevant theme description page. Example: https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/cubic/

Do read what is says about your theme here please https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/cubic/
Meet Cubic, a single-column, grid-based theme with large featured images, perfect for photoblogging.
