Widgets eaten by Journalist-Theme

Here’s what happened. I switched from a three column theme to a two column them. Not only the default widgets show up in the column, not the ones I made (rss, etc.); now, they are marked as ‘used’ in the widget dashboard, but there is no button next to them and they don’t show up in the right column of ‘current widgets’. Any ideas?

    Best,
    D.

Check first to see if they are lurking down in the cluster of available widgets at the bottom of the widget page.
This happened to me when I made a very minor adjustment to my sidebar a couple of weeks ago. The sidebar reverted back to the default setting. It was only after going on these forums that I was told to open up the widgets at the bottom. There they were. It was tiresome, but I managed to get the sidebar built up to the way it was without having to start from scratch.

Thanks for the tip. I just added one of the widgets and that seemed to have fixed it. All widgets are visible now and they had ‘add’ buttons! :)
