Widgets error

hello wordpress forums, i have a problem with my widgets and i was hoping you might have some ideas about how i can fix it.
The odd thing is that they apear perfectly when i’m in one of the categories, but in the main page they don’t apear except low on the page, after the blog-posts, i have no idea why or how to fix it. i tried switching the skin repetedly and to no avail.
Itried changing the widgets….but that didn’t work either. They apear below the posts at the end of the page no matter what the theme and every otehr variable i can think of and can fix.
any ideas? -

i’ve been working on it for several hours and i can see them all when i look at my “about me” page, and probably other categories if i had any, but i don’t. They don’t load on the front page.
In firefox i can’t even see my background properly.
And in IE i can even hear the goddamn somg-spot thing in my speakers, and yet i can’t see it, it doesn’t even apear lower on the page now…..
I fixed it earlier today by switching my posts/page from 20 to 10, and iw worked, i was most thrilled.
However, it went al screwie again when i started posting something new.
I’m really hoping someone from wordpress reads this and helps me fix this. -
Usually this is because you’ve got a picture or table that is too wide. It pushes the sidebar down the page. Check to see this isn’t the case by setting your blog to display only one post at a time, and clicking Previous Post…the problem will only show up on the post that is causing this to happen.
The second reason this happens is that people are posting with copies from Word or elsewhere on the web and pasting in HTML that they don’t even see. This causes all sorts of problems, so if you’re pasting from Word, just stop. Try the trick above to find out which post is causing the problem and then strip out the formatting (copy the text, paste to Wordpad using “paste special–>remove formatting” and then copy the Wordpad content and paste that back in). That should fix it.
Also, please give us a direct link to the blog you’re talking about, either by linking your name to the blog (Profile –>Website) or by pasting it in here starting with http.

In most of the problems mentioned in this thread, I think the solution here should fix it:

Never mind the bold/italic part, the problem is a –more– tag that is enclosed by some other tag, probably a div.
That’s not the root cause but it should fix the immediate problem.

Close the last div before the more tag in your last post (simply adding a </div> tag just before the more tag in code mode) and it’ll work.
And after that *please* switch off the music and let the user decide by himself if he really wants to hear your music. I honestly thought about closing the page and let you alone with your problem because of it. -

Yes, the solutions above will help you. Look at the top post in your blog: you’ve got all KINDS of formatting in there. Three fonts?
It looks like it’s been pasted from Word, which has been covered above.
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=21714&replies=8#post-163542Open that up to edit, strip out all the text, paste it into Wordpad using Paste Special->Remove Formatting, copy the copy in Wordpad (which doesn’t have any formatting) and then paste that back into the blog, and hit Save. Let us know what happens then.
