widgets hide my categories!

  i use the contempt theme, if i activate widgets of any kind my archives + categories disappear, widgets take their place. of course i’d like the widgets to be added at the bottom… i’m new here and i’m sure the solution is easy but i can’t find it…
  i have a custom account with no css costumization or else, just plain contempt theme.

  Your theme comes with a few default widgets. When you add one on your own from Design -> Widgets, the default widgets will be removed. Your sidebar gets the sense that you would like to customize it, so it clears the canvas for you.

  No worries, though. You can simply add the Categories Widget (and any others) from Design -> Widgets.
