Widgets inactive on WP blog
-
This is an on-going problem with my computer – certain templates/forms will not show unless I drop the firewall, such as the signup form for bit.ly.com. It’s a blank page until I drop the firewall, then the form appears to enter my information. This works for some programs, but not for WP widgets. I can drag the widget across to the sidebar, but it remains a gray box and does not open to the editor. The “screen options” and “help” buttons are also inactive.
I can upload photos and banners into the library/gallery, but when I go to “insert into post” I get a blank page.
I have lowered my security and I have javascript enabled – is there something else my computer should have?
