Widgets no longer valid on the blog
-
I use a wordpress theme and I used to be able to use certain html codes for text in widgets e.g pinterest html code etc. I recently tried to change the code so i can have a different badge and my theme no longer allows me to have any html codes. Anyone able to help or tell what’s changed on wordpress?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Regardless of theme you choose to use you can capture an image of any social networking icon and upload it, link to it and display it in a text widget.
For creating links in a text widget see:

NOTE http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/#adding-an-imageYou can upload image files by clicking the Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/
You can also upload new files to your Media Library using Media → Add New. http://support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new

Thanks for your response. Previously I could have actual html texts in my widget area, this has stopped working on the blog. Like I mentioned, I used to have one for pinterest and I tried changing the html link which suddenly didn’t work. I tried having the old like again and it did not respond. This is my issue. I know i’m able to have images redirected to links but I would rather have it the was it used to be, in that way, I could have better functionality. Is anyone able to advice what has changed with wordpress?
