Widgets not displayed

  For some reason the widgets on the right side of my page just dissapeared.
  A while back there were a lot of them, now only 3 .
  How do I get them back on display?

  Widgets can be modified by going to dashboard under Appearance>Widgets.

  well, I know where to go to modify widgets.
  My problem is that after I go and do my changes, the newly modified widgets are NOT displayed.
  Even more, existing widgets displayed several months ago are now gone.
  How can I have this fixed?

  Check the individual widget visibility settings. It’s a new thing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility
