widgets not showing

  Hi, I am new so have had a good read to try and solve this but I can’t find the answer. I am trying to add widgets to my page and would like some to mainly show up on the main post page. I have followed the instructions to add them to the sidebar but they don’t show. I seem to have a lot of options: Main, first, second and third sidebars but also first front page sidebar, second front page sidebar and third front page sidebar. I have done a bit of “trial and error” with the “about me” widget but am not seeing it show up anywhere. I have tried playing around with the visibility option but don’t really know what the options mean so I am struggling. Please help!

  Hi there,

  I’ve looked into your site and it looks like that widget was not showing up because it wasn’t linked to a specific “About Me” url. It popped up once I put one in.

  I’ve added an “Archives” and a “Calendar” widget to your main sidebar, and it does show up for me. They’re still there to confirm that that sidebar continues to work once you’re looking at it. But obviously feel free to remove them and add what you like :)

  Please let me know if you run into any other issues!
