Widgets not showing up?
-
I set up several widgets on my page but they are not showing up. Is there a widget limit? I wanted to add a goodreads, top rated, and most clicked links but none are showing. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or am I simply unable to have all of these?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In theory there’s no limit.
Pilcrow has several layouts (with no sidebar, or with one or two or three sidebar areas). You’re using a single-sidebar layout. Which widget area did you add the other widgets to? -
Do they show up on the dashboard, or when you go there are they gone from the Sidebar area?
-
When setting up widgets they are all listed. Admittedly some were in the 2nd column. However, I have moved all of them to my 1st column and still only 3 of the 8 are showing up. I’m not sure what’s wrong.

I am having the same exact problem at enchantedseashells.com
I see them in my Dashboard but they don’t display any more. Only some of them. What can I do? They used to all show up. Thank you. -
Are they showing on the Dashboard page after you go look at the front page?
Which widgets?
-
Yes, I see them on the Dashboard, but on my site, none of my widgets show up below the one that says “Let’s Hook up mate” I have links widget, text widget, calendar, my awards. Nada. Like only 1/3 of them show up but they used to all be there.

I think you have an HTML error. Follow these instructions, please. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2012/05/19/sidebar-at-the-bottom-and-related-issues/

@emoore11: First you must make sure all the widgets you want are in “Sidebar”, not in “Secondary Sidebar” or any other of the available areas. Second, open each widget and click the Visibility tab: what options are selected in the pulldowns?
@enchantedseashells: Raincoaster is right. You need to edit the “Let’s Hook up mate” widget and delete this from the end:

I tried the HTML error page and followed the directions but that didn’t seem to work. The widgets are showing in my dashboard (both in the home page listing 8 widgets and on my widgets section listing the individual 8 widgets in the main sidebar). The five not showing up are: goodreads, top rated, top clicks, blogs I follow, and search. The three showing up are: calendar, follow blog, and tag cloud. I can’t figure out what the difference is between them.

If you don’t trust my reply, check this page to see four of your widgets:
http://acupofenglishtea.wordpress.com/tag/writing/
Then check this page to see six of your widgets:
http://acupofenglishtea.wordpress.com/author/emoore11/If you want all the widgets on all the pages, you need to edit each widget and correct its Visibility: set the first pulldown to “Show” and the second pulldown to “–Select–“.
-
I somehow managed to get it to work! I think it might have been a problem with visibility. Thanks so much for all your help! @enchantedseashells, I hope you figure it out too!

You are all amazing. Thank you for your help. I won’t be able to try these things til later today but I will and fingers crossed!!!

What if I totally changed my theme? Just in case I can’t make them reappear following your instructions, would they magically show up in another theme or is it an organic prob?
-
The rest of your widgets haven’t disappeared, they’re just out of place: scroll to the bottom of your homepage to see them.
It’s not a theme issue, it’s a code issue, so I don’t see the point of your question: all you have to to is open that widget, delete the wrong bit of code I showed you, save. -
