Widgets not showing up

  I am blogging at http://www.seekingquerencia.me and I’ve written about this problem before but it hasn’t been answered satisfactorily. I have three widgets on my sidebar that just do not show up on the home page, and two that inexplicably show up at the very bottom of the page. The last person advised that it is showing up on her end but it is not showing up on mine. Please help.

  Hi there,

  I can see the problem as well, and have traced it back to an extra div tag in the HTML for one of your text widgets, that was causing all the widgets below it to behave erratically.

  If you go to Appearance>Widgets, and click on the 8th widget down (a text widget with no title) you will see the following code:

  <a href="http://www.janedavenport.com" title="Jane Davenport - online art Workshops" target="_blank">
  <img src="http://www.janedavenport.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/blog-badge-150.jpg" alt="Jane Davenport - online art Workshops" style="border:none;" />
  </a>
  </div>

  Just remove this:

  </div>

  That will get everything back under control.

  I also noted that in both of the text widgets you added from Jane Davenport online art Workshops appear to not have valid image URLs, which is why images for those two widgets don’t show. For example, in the above code, there is no image at http://www.janedavenport.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/blog-badge-150.jpg
