Widgets on mobile and tablet

  Hello… How do I move set a widget to appear at the top or the side of my blog? On the desktop, my “follow” button appears on the top right side as I positioned it under the Widgets section under Appearance. But on mobile and tablet view, it shows at the very bottom. How do I rearrange it to show at the top?

  Also, I see codes being provided. Where are these codes supposed to be placed?
