Widgets on Secondary pages
-
Hi there,
I want to be able to put a gallery widget as a main feature on a page that isn’t my home page – so it looks the same as it would on the home page for the ‘Sela’ template. Are you able to tell me how to do this, or what template I should use to be able to do this. I’m happy to pay for a template but don’t want to pay for one that doesn’t have this function.
Thanks

Hi there, I’m not entirely certain I understand what you want to do.
Sela has a special front page template that you can enable in the Page Attributes module which pulls in information from some other pages (like testimonials) automatically. Do you want to create a second page using that front page template?

Thanks for replying! I was wanting a gallery widget on a secondary page but not as a sidebar or footer, I was wanting it to look like it would if it was a front page.
Thanks :) -

Hello again, in that case, unless you want to use the same front page template again, you’ll want to set up a Gallery following the guide I linked to earlier https://en.support.wordpress.com/gallery/
Since your site is marked Private, if you need more help with this please let me know and I’ll tag this for Staff assistance.
