Widgets on separate postings

  I have installed some widgets on my blog, but they don’t appear on the separate postings.
  They are here: http://ytringer.wordpress.com
  but not here: http://ytringer.wordpress.com/2011/05/04/exit-osama/

  So, what have I done wrong?

  That is the way that particular theme is designed. It does not show widgets on the single post pages, that was the theme designer’s choice. To have widgets show on the single post pages, you will have to choose a theme that does that.

  In most themes, widgets are displayed on all dynamic pages & on single pages and posts. There are exceptions and if you wish to make a theme change then consulting this post first will be helpful as it lists the exceptions so you can eliminate them from your choices.
