WIdgets only on home page

  Why can’t my widgets only show up on my stagnate homepage. Why do they show up on all of my pages?

  That’s theme dependent. I seem to think there’s at least one theme that displays them on the homepage, but I can’t recall which one.

  the k2 theme has a customized sidebar modules that allows to show only selected widget in desired pages/posts/home page. you find it here: http://getk2.com

  We don’t have that ability here at wordpress.com. If you are self-hosted yes, but not here.
