Widgets: this link is blocked

  A little pop up note says ‘this link is blocked’ when i hold the cursor over the ‘widgets’ link. Please help!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Then maybe it is an advertising link which we are not allowed to have. Post the link here please and we will examine it.

  Which post or page is it in please?

  Are you trying to use a text widget and copy code from another site into it?

  Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed.

  1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.

  2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.

  I can’t access my widgets from the Appearance menu. A little pop up note says ‘this link is blocked’ when i hold the cursor over the ‘widgets’.

  Whitelist WordPress.com on your virus protection. Sounds like it’s blocked.

  What do you mean? I don’t use a virus protection software on my mac.
