widgets wont work

none of my widget tabs will open. and i am unable to open the screen options tab at the top left either. i have tried disabling my plug-ins and no go their either. i have also tried opening the tab in a new window without any luck. i do use Firefox. could someone help me please . thanks
ps i have had the blog on private as i am still rearranging after an import, sorry for the mess ;)

Have you tried clearing internet history, diabling the plug ins, restarting your pc? Then reinstalling the plugins?
Also you’re referring to a self hosted wordpress blog, correct?
