Widgets – Your theme has 9 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them

  I have 14 widget areas available with my theme, however, 9 of them won’t display.

  When I am working in Appearance > Widgets. My widgets all seem to appear without an issue until I go and work within the live preview area. Then I try and edit my widgets and I receive this message:

  ‘Your theme has 9 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them. You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.’

  How do I troubleshoot this and have my widgets display once again on my homescreen and manage them in the ‘live preview’.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  I am also using the theme, “Spacious”.

  The content I previously had on my website no longer appears. I have three widgets that will not show up on my page.

  Hi there,

  Third party themes sometimes prevent Widgets from showing in Appearance >> Widgets, which is quite normal. I would recommend you get in touch with your theme support for details.

  However, the website ‘http://fremantlemetallurgy.com.au’ you have posted uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted with Dreamscape Networks, while this forum uses the hosted WordPress.com platform.

  They’re very similar, but two separate things.

  Hi @ninatomascreative

  When I visit your site I see it is using the Spacious theme by a company called ThemeGrill. This is not a theme we offer on WordPress.com (we are not familiar with it at all) but as @amiteshg93 correctly points out, your site appears to be hosted with another provider of WordPress sites that we are not associated with.

  The link @amiteshg93 has given is good for general WordPress questions, and a great place to get help. However since you mention your issue is with widgets in your theme, I think you will get better help by contacting the creators of your theme directly so they can take a closer look.
