Widgets/links help!
-
I want to have links in my sidebar, where you click on each one and it brings you to a seperate page with my sample writing. I don’t want these links anywhere else (not at the top with my pages). Like this: http://lisaebert.wordpress.com/
Thanks!!!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That blog is using the “Pages” widget on the Quentin theme to provide a list of links to her pages :)

Here’s the link to the support documentation with instructions for setting up the Pages widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/ -
How can I not only show specific pages on my sidebar without them also appearing at the top menu?
-
At the same link I posted above please scroll down to this:
Exclude – If you would like to keep certain pages from being listed in the widget, you can enter the Page IDs (separated by commas). To find the Page ID, go to Pages->Edit and hover over the title of the page. The status bar of your browser will display a URL with a numeric ID at the end. This is the page ID.

I notice your wordpress.com username is linked to a weebly blog. I hope you know that this forum is only for blogs being free hosted by wordpress.com, and those who want help with blogs hosted elsewhere must post here > http://wordpress.org/support/ -
No, my weebly blog is my main website. I needed help with my new wordpress blog. Anyway, I just changed my theme, because I didn’t want links on my header, only on my sidebar.

We can’t provide specific help when have no idea what theme you are using so I’m glad to hear you sorted this.
