  There are two widgets showing on my blog – Meta and Archives. I didn’t put them there, and they don’t show up on my dashboard so I can’t remove them. Please either remove them for me or tell me how. Since they aren’t visible in the side bar when I click on “widgets”, I can’t delete them.

  Howdy,

  In order to disable default widgets, like Meta and Archives, you’ll need to add whichever widgets you would like to use to your widget areas at Appearance -> Widgets.
