widgit pics won't load on my computer, redirected to pageinxt

Hi. I have several blogs. The problem is only with this one: oldworldwar.wordpress.com. Widget pics won’t load on my computer, but they load ok on other machines. A security warning screen pops up sometimes when I first open the blog. It says there is a security problem with this website, only the screen doesn’t show my blog address; it shows “pageinxt.com” instead. And when the widget pics try to load but fail, I see on the readout at the bottom of the page that I’m being redirected to pageinxt.com. I’ve checked my computer for malware, spyware, viruses, etc, with Trend Micro Antivirus and it always comes up clean. My antivirus software is current. I also checked my blog at IsMyBlogWorking.com and it got a clean bill of health. I also deleted most of the gadgets among my widgets, except a couple of old ones that have always worked fine. I thought maybe there was a bit of rogue script that was causing the problem in one of the widgets, but that didn’t help either. I have a lot of pictures among the widgets, but I can’t think they would cause a problem. I’ve tried everything I can think of, and searched the web for information about pageinxt.com, but can find nothing of any use. I suspect it’s a malware problem, but I can’t find a way to isolate or identify it. Any suggestions? Thanks. BJ Omanson

Forgot to mention, I also cleaned out the caches on both browsers that I use, IE and Firefox. That didn’t help either.

Thank you, Timethief, that fixed it. HOWEVER, now all my widget pictures only load as broken images. (‘X’s in little boxes). Again, it’s just on my machine. The site looks fine on other computers.

I viewed your blog using both Firefox 3.6.13 and IE8 and I can see all the images without any problems so I have no help to offer you in that respect. Sorry :(

1. Are the images uplaoded into your Media Libaray and visible to you there?
2 Are the images being image hosted on another site like photbucket or Flickr that you are a linking to?
3. . Are you “hotlinking” to images on another site? If so they may not appreciate you robbing their bandwidth and could have “pulled” the images thereby creating the lack of display you report. -
No to all three. I don’t know how to use the Media Library.
None of them are hosted on another site.
I don’t ever do ‘hotlinking’ of other sites’ images.
I uploaded all the images from my own computer, after I had resized them. -
