widow contol

    Hello, I am having trouble with basically widow control. What I see on my page preview doesn’t match what I see in my new post window. I do know about the shift/return. After looking at my preview and entering my shift returns accordingly, it shifts something else. All I want to do, is to be able to center my text so that it looks pleasing, with lines that are not too short. Any suggestions? Thanks much.
