  Hi
  WordPress blogs look great, but seems a pity that my post … pics etc, only fill about
  one half of the screen

  You have very large images occupying the blogging space in your posts, which is exactly where they ought to be – not the sidebar. What is it that you are trying to achieve? If we know what you consider to be the optimium “fix” then maybe we can find a way to achieve it.

  Do you have CSS editing skills and are you willing to pay annually for a CSS upgrade? There is no Staff support for learning but if you can CSS edit then you can change the font colors throughout the blog. You can also remove the sidebar from the theme.

  Changing font size doesn’t make sense because we can all change use our browser to resize and font on any webpage.

  Have you considered using either the duotone or monotone themes?

  i just thought… why not have the pics and text occupying
  2/3 of the screen instead of barely 1/2
  but I guess the two side bars are standard.

  It would be great to control the colour of the fonts
  too, but it looks like that is not going to be easy !

  but at least everything works ok !

  looking again at the blog, in fact there are two
  grey columns one either side of the blog…
  both columns are 2 inches wide and dont seem to be for anything
  what is the point of that ?

  Are we talking about the same blog or what? Your blog attached to your is in : Black Letterhead theme by Ulysses Ronquillo. It has one sidebar on the right hand side. The only way you can remove it is through CSS editing as I explained above. If you look at the Duotone and Monotone themes you will see that they don’t have sidebars because they are designed for for photoblogs.
